About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Aerospace Project Manager to lead key initiatives within their advanced engineering division in Reading . This role is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex aerospace projects, from conception through to final deployment. You will manage cross-functional teams, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communications, ensuring projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams , fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Manage stakeholder communications, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, adhering to aerospace industry best practices .
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager in the aerospace or a related high-technology industry.
- Strong understanding of aerospace engineering principles, product development lifecycles, and regulatory environments.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills .
- Ability to manage complex budgets and resource allocation effectively.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
