About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Aviation Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their operations based in Coventry . You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of diverse aviation initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders across various departments. You will play a key part in driving operational efficiency and innovation within the aviation sector, working in a hybrid model that offers flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Manage project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.
- Conduct post-project reviews and identify lessons learned for future projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the aviation industry or a related highly regulated field.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
