About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Development Project Manager to lead exciting new development projects in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK . This is a hands-on role responsible for managing all phases of the development cycle, from site acquisition and planning through to construction and final handover. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Scottish property development landscape and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable built environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of real estate development projects from conception to completion.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate and liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Secure necessary permits, approvals, and planning permissions from local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all building regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including investors, landowners, and community representatives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate development project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex development projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and planning processes in Scotland .
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
