About the Role
Our client seeks a seasoned Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of diverse telecom projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation for telecom projects .
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including stakeholder communication and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring progress towards milestones.
- Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and client expectations.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for procured services and equipment.
- Provide regular project status reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record (5+ years) of managing complex telecommunications projects .
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with network deployment, infrastructure upgrades, and service provisioning in the telecom sector.
