About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Telecoms Project Manager to oversee diverse telecommunications projects based in Glasgow . This role is key to the successful delivery of network upgrades, installations, and infrastructure development. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications from initiation through to completion. This hybrid role allows for a balance between on-site collaboration and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring effective project oversight in a critical sector for the UK's connectivity. You will be instrumental in driving projects forward within a supportive and results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize telecommunications projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure objectives are met.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the telecommunications industry.
- Solid understanding of telecom network technologies and deployment processes.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
