About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Construction Project Manager to oversee significant construction projects in Belfast and across Northern Ireland. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong operational background, responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex building and infrastructure projects. You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations. This is a key leadership position offering the chance to shape substantial developments and lead multidisciplinary teams within a progressive company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans , including scope, budget, and timelines.
- Manage and coordinate site operations, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure contract compliance and quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with stakeholders.
- Manage project finances, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, managing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts , and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project , Primavera P6).
- Hold a valid CSCS card or equivalent.
