About the Role
Our client requires a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead significant building projects in Belfast . This is a high-profile position responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of construction projects from inception to handover. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership capabilities and a demonstrable history of delivering complex projects on time and within budget in Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring resource allocation is optimized.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety , and environmental regulations.
- Manage client relationships, providing regular progress reports and addressing concerns proactively.
- Mitigate project risks and implement effective contingency plans.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, managing large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills .
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is essential.
- Professional qualifications such as PMP or Prince 2 are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
