About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead ambitious projects within the renewable energy infrastructure sector in Manchester . You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from conception and planning through to execution and completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for renewable energy projects.
- Manage all project phases, ensuring successful execution and delivery of key milestones.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, contractors, and site personnel.
- Oversee risk management, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and local authorities, providing regular progress updates and managing expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , with a strong track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the energy sector.
- Demonstrable knowledge of renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage).
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
