About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to lead key initiatives from their Southampton office. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of telecommunications projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, leadership skills, and robust project management expertise to navigate complex projects and stakeholder expectations. You will be a vital part of our strategic growth, managing projects that enhance our network capabilities and service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Oversee project execution, tracking progress and managing risks and issues proactively.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
- Ensure effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular status updates.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned for future projects.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Project Manager , ideally within the telecoms or IT infrastructure sector.
- Experience managing projects involving network deployment, upgrades, or system integration.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) is advantageous.
