About the Role
Our client seeks a proactive and seasoned Senior Renewables Project Manager to drive the successful execution of diverse renewable energy projects in Manchester . You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initial site assessment and feasibility studies through to construction, commissioning, and handover. This role requires a strong blend of technical understanding, financial acumen, and exceptional leadership skills to navigate complex challenges and ensure project profitability and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.), ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans , including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication strategies.
- Liaise with engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and seamless project execution.
- Oversee site development activities, permitting, and environmental assessments.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
- Provide regular project status updates and performance reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale renewable energy projects .
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, policies, and market dynamics in the Manchester area.
