About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to oversee critical operational projects within their retail division in Glasgow . This role is integral to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of retail operations across the organization, managing initiatives from strategic planning through to successful implementation. You will work with a dedicated team to drive improvements in store processes, supply chain logistics, and customer service delivery. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of retail environments and a proven ability to lead complex projects that deliver tangible business results, contributing to a culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of key retail operations projects .
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including store managers, supply chain partners, and IT departments.
- Identify operational challenges and opportunities for improvement, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor project performance, reporting on progress, risks, and key performance indicators to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on retail or operations management .
- Demonstrated success in managing projects related to store operations, supply chain, or customer experience improvements.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes and challenges.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to travel to various retail locations as required by project needs.
