About the Role
Our client is seeking an organised and experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee a variety of network deployment and upgrade projects in Portsmouth . This role is critical for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and mitigate risks to achieve project success. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalise telecommunications projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project teams, providing leadership, direction, and motivation to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project progress, status, and key decisions effectively to all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a significant portion within the telecoms or IT infrastructure industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple concurrent projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
