Overview In this role you lead end-to-end project management on infrastructure commissions, acting as the primary client interface to ensure time, cost and quality targets are met. You will operate within a cross-functional team on varied projects in transportation, utilities and highways, guiding governance, risk, procurement and reporting. The role offers a pathway from PM to senior PM, with a focus on delivering high-impact outcomes for clients and stakeholders. You will work in a collaborative Edinburgh team with opportunities to shape major projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities - Provide strategic advice at project inception to align approaches with client objectives
- Define and maintain project requirements and success criteria
- Establish governance, processes and systems for the project
- Create and maintain master project plan and activity schedules
- Lead development according to approved plans and targets
- Develop resource plans and manage procurement
- Coordinate cross-functional project team and stakeholder engagement
- Apply performance management using KPIs to improve delivery
- Manage change control and budget forecasting
- Oversee risk identification, mitigation and reporting
- Maintain regular client communications and reporting
- Advise on Health & Safety and Environmental issues and risks
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment issues
Key requirements - Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (preferred)
- Experience on large scheme projects (£100m+ assessed)
- NEC ECC Project Manager accreditation
- Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS is preferred
- Proven project leadership and client-facing experience
