Overview As a Project Requirements Manager in our Defence Programme Performance team, you will shape and validate requirements across complex programmes, including Nuclear, to support future capabilities and infrastructure delivery. You’ll collaborate with clients, project managers and leadership to ensure robust, traceable requirements and alignment with business processes. This role blends requirements engineering with stakeholder engagement, enabling better decision-making and programme outcomes. Responsibilities - Capture and assess requirements to identify benefits and opportunities through workshops
- Develop and implement strategic, robust requirements for future capabilities
- Maintain up-to-date requirements registers and produce fit-for-purpose documentation
- Present requirements to support infrastructure capability development and RIBA process
- Engage with project managers, clients, and senior leadership for validation and alignment
- Create and manage requirement management plans across multiple projects/programmes
- Lead requirements workshops and training to foster a proactive culture
Key requirements - Experience in Defence, regulated sectors, or similar project/programme delivery
- Proficiency in Requirements management and ensuring integrated processes across portfolios
- Experience with DOORs (live databases) and Advanced Excel; project management exposure is beneficial
- Familiarity with risk or benefits mapping is advantageous
- Understanding of RIBA/GRIP or defence life cycles is desirable
