You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility and design through to procurement, construction, and final handover, ensuring strict adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and resources.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial controls to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, contractor selection, and contract administration.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project performance.
- Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage change orders and claims effectively.
- Ensure successful project handover and close-out procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or residential construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and health & safety legislation.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and construction management platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with contract management and administration (e.g., NEC, JCT).
- Ability to effectively manage remote team members and coordinate on-site activities.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or MCIOB are advantageous.
