About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-driven Construction Project Manager to lead challenging projects from inception to completion in the Sunderland area. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project flow.
- Implement and enforce stringent health and safety standards on all construction sites.
- Manage project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and contract management.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
