About the Role
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead significant projects in the Sunderland area. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, a robust understanding of construction methodologies, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. You will be the primary point of contact, responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and procurement through to final completion and handover, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans , including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage all project activities, ensuring compliance with building regulations, health, and safety standards.
- Oversee site operations, including the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and internal teams.
- Ensure effective contract administration and manage project financials accurately.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver successful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and project management software .
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Construction, Engineering, or Project Management.
