About the Role

Birmingham . This role is vital for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of the project, adhering strictly to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the site operations, from initial groundwork to final handover. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget allocation.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, blueprints, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and invoice approvals.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies to address queries and ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and present regular project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Requirements
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management, with a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and construction management platforms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
