About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead residential construction projects in Coventry . This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing all phases of the construction lifecycle, from initial planning and design to final handover. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Develop and manage project schedules, identifying critical path activities and potential risks.
- Appoint and manage contractors and consultants, ensuring performance and quality standards are met.
- Liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement stringent quality control measures and health and safety compliance on all sites.
- Prepare regular progress reports and financial updates for senior management and clients.
Requirements
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management within the residential construction sector.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget in the Coventry region.
- Proficiency in project management software and standard construction practices.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- SMSTS certification is highly desirable.
