Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Implement and enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental management systems.
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications effectively.
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, and financial management of projects.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues as they arise.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and provide comprehensive project reports.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Champion innovation and best practices in construction management.
Requirements
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in managing complex construction projects.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrable experience in risk management, contract negotiation, and financial control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CIOB) are advantageous.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
