About the Role
Our client, a renowned developer and contractor in the **construction** industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Construction Project Manager** to oversee significant development projects based in and around **Birmingham**. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and procurement through to final handover. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to assess performance and address any concerns.
- Manage project documentation, including site records, progress reports, and financial statements.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure successful project handover and client satisfaction upon completion.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 8 years) as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering complex **construction** projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6), and contract administration.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in the **construction** sector.
