About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and organized Telecoms Project Manager to oversee diverse projects within their operations based in Manchester . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The role demands strong leadership, exceptional communication, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the successful completion of telecommunications infrastructure and service deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicate them to interested parties.
- Manage project execution, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure project documentation is comprehensive and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify areas of improvement.
Requirements
- Proven working experience in telecoms project management , managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resource allocation effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience is required.
