About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and organized Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee the delivery of key network infrastructure projects in Stoke-on-Trent . This role demands strong leadership, meticulous planning, and effective stakeholder management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure, coordinating internal teams, external vendors, and clients. This is a crucial position for driving growth and maintaining operational excellence within our client's expanding telecoms operations, requiring a strategic approach to project execution and resource management in the Staffordshire area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage telecommunications projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Coordinate and direct project teams, including engineers, technicians, and third-party contractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex telecommunications projects.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and infrastructure deployment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
