About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Project Manager to lead a critical infrastructure upgrade project based in Milton Keynes . You will manage all aspects of the project, from planning and procurement to implementation and handover, collaborating closely with internal IT teams and external vendors. Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management.
- Develop detailed project plans , timelines, and budgets for the infrastructure upgrade.
- Manage and coordinate resources, including internal IT staff, external consultants, and vendors.
- Oversee the procurement of hardware, software, and services required for the upgrade.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges effectively to all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT Project Management , specifically with infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to manage complex IT deployments, including network, server, and cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
