About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to spearhead the implementation of new software solutions in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This role demands a proactive approach to managing dependencies, risks, and resources to ensure successful delivery of software projects that align with business objectives. You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new systems, contributing to the technological advancement of the organization and driving efficiency through effective IT project governance, working within a forward-thinking environment that values agile methodologies and impactful technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for software implementation projects.
- Manage project execution, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ensure successful deployment and user adoption of new software solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , managing software implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with CRM , ERP, or other enterprise software implementations is essential.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities to manage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
