About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead critical drug development and commercialization projects within their organization. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a blend of remote strategic planning and collaborative on-site meetings at their Nottingham headquarters. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive experience in pharmaceutical project management, and a comprehensive understanding of the drug development lifecycle. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes, contributing significantly to the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple pharmaceutical projects from initiation through to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering effective collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure projects adhere to relevant regulatory guidelines and company SOPs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or business field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in drug development or related areas.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies; PMP certification is a plus.
