About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmaceutical Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their organization, based in Derby . This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating teams, managing stakeholders, and driving project success in a fast-paced and innovative pharmaceutical environment . The hybrid nature of this role allows for a balance of collaborative in-office work and focused remote productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, involving cross-functional teams.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes effectively to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of drug development processes, regulatory affairs, and GxP compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
