About the Role
Our client seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead a significant development project in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful completion of the project, ensuring it meets scope, budget, and timeline requirements. This pivotal role demands exceptional organizational abilities, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and strong stakeholder management skills. You will orchestrate all aspects of the construction process from inception to handover, driving efficiency and excellence on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with senior management.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities , ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Effectively manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress, regularly reporting on status, performance, and potential deviations from the plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction project management .
- Demonstrated success in managing complex construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and contract administration.
