Overview In this role you will lead the enabling works package on a landmark civil project in Bedford, ensuring safe, on-time and on-budget delivery. You will work within an experienced project team, collaborating with clients, consultants and supply chain partners to meet high quality and safety standards. You will monitor progress, cost, risk and program performance, reporting regularly to stakeholders. Responsibilities - Manage the delivery of enabling works from mobilisation through to completion
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor programme, cost, quality and risk
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain
- Provide regular progress reporting and drive project performance
Key requirements - Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction or civil engineering
- Background delivering enabling works, infrastructure or major civil engineering projects
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and experience managing multiple stakeholders
- Degree/HNC/HND in a relevant discipline preferred
- SMSTS, CSCS and Full UK Driving Licence
