Overview In this role you will lead engineering execution for Grid, Substation and BESS projects across the EMEA region, guiding multi-discipline teams to deliver high‑complexity outcomes. You’ll mentor engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and interface with clients on technical aspects and changes. Based in Glasgow with travel to sites, you’ll work a hybrid pattern to drive proposals and project delivery. This position supports B&V’s mission to deliver critical resources access and sustainable energy solutions at scale. You will shape engineering standards and collaborate across internal and external teams to achieve project success.

Responsibilities - Oversee budget, schedule, technical output and performance of engineering staff on medium to high complexity projects
- Interface directly with clients on technical aspects and project changes with limited PM oversight
- Support business development by identifying client drivers for proposals
- Provide technical guidance on design guides, standards, systems, and BV policies
- Develop and maintain engineering standards; update as needed
- Coordinate with internal/external teams on complex projects
- Define project schedules and actively manage changes with client supervision
- Oversee performance management, career planning, recognition, and development within the team
Key requirements - Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Eligibility for pre-employment checks including background, drug screen, and motor vehicle records review
