Responsibilities - Lead preparation, delivery and commissioning of infrastructure projects from inception to completion
- Define clear objectives aligned to business needs and drive outcomes
- Build and lead high-performing teams with strong collaboration and accountability
- Manage contracts, suppliers and partners; monitor quality, cost, schedule and performance
- Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies to prevent delays and cost overruns
- Manage budgets, cashflow, expenditure and provide financial reporting
- Review and monitor schedules and milestones to keep progress on track
- Support project assurance, gateway reviews and governance activities
- Oversee change control processes and assess impacts
- Maintain project plans, forecasts and configuration management
- Ensure compliance with client processes and infrastructure governance
- Manage contract close-out and fulfill obligations
- Apply risk management principles throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide clear reporting and communications to senior management, customers and stakeholders
Key requirements - Hands-on construction background with practical building services experience
- Proven delivery of infrastructure and construction projects across all phases
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to challenge compensation events
- Extensive experience managing delivery under NEC4 contracts including change management and stakeholder engagement
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in project management and reporting tools
- Minimum 10 years' construction and commissioning experience
- At least 5 years in a project management or leadership role
