Overview In this Senior Project Manager role at Tilbury Douglas, you own delivery of major construction schemes from inception to handover within the East Midlands regional build team. You will lead project delivery with emphasis on safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance, building strong client and stakeholder relationships. You will identify risks, drive improvements, and collaborate across planning, design, commercial, and operations to achieve excellent project outcomes. Responsibilities - Lead successful delivery of construction projects ensuring safety, quality, programme, cost, and contractual requirements
- Implement Health & Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Environmental Management, and Integrated Management System policies
- Identify risks/issues, develop mitigations, review methods to maximise performance and commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with planning, design management, commercial, and document control teams for best project outcomes and aftercare
- Lead, mentor and develop project teams through leadership, performance management, and coaching
Key requirements - Experience delivering construction projects as a Senior Project Manager on schemes valued in excess of 20 million
- Degree (or equivalent)
- CITB Level 3 Safety qualification
- valid CSCS Card (professional qualification desirable)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent commercial, financial, and contractual awareness
- Strong technical construction knowledge for risk identification and proactive problem solving
- Excellent planning, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Experience in defence sector or similarly complex secure environments is a strong advantage
