Overview In this role you lead end-to-end project management commissions within the Energy & Natural Resources division, guiding complex assignments from inception to completion. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet time, cost, and quality targets, while ensuring risk, governance and stakeholder needs are addressed. The work centers on delivering value for clients, including nuclear sector engagements, and shaping project delivery to support Turner's growth and client outcomes. Responsibilities - Provide strategic advisory at project inception to align approaches with client objectives
- Define and maintain project requirements and success criteria
- Establish and govern project processes, governance, and systems
- Create and maintain master project plans and schedules
- Oversee resource planning and procurement; lead cross-functional project teams
- Apply performance management techniques and KPIs to improve project outcomes
- Manage change control, budgets, and cost forecasting
- Facilitate client communications and manage stakeholder relationships throughout all stages
- Advise on Health & Safety and Environmental issues and risks; plan for QHSE management
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to resource management and knowledge sharing
- Capture and input project learnings into internal databases and drive process improvements
- Support assurance activities and interface with clients and other consultants
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls where applicable
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and environment across projects
Key requirements - Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
- Working towards MCIOB or APM or similar professional qualification
- Proven experience managing HT&M projects, preferably in a consultancy environment
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to obtain BPSS level security clearance
