Overview In this role you lead end-to-end project management commissions for major infrastructure projects. You will act as the primary day-to-day client interface, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the required quality. You’ll establish governance, plans, risk controls and reporting while coordinating cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on position to shape outcomes across transportation, utilities and highways in a global consultancy. A rewarding step toward a senior project leadership path.

Responsibilities - Advise at project inception on approaches to meet client objectives
- Define and maintain project requirements and success criteria
- Establish governance, processes and systems for the project
- Create and maintain master project schedule and progress plans
- Manage development of project in line with plans and targets
- Develop resource plans and procure resources
- Lead cross-functional project team and coordinate activities
- Monitor performance and apply KPIs to improve delivery
- Manage change control and budgets, forecasting vs actuals
- Ensure clear information flow with client via meetings and communications
- Identify and mitigate project risks and monitor risk management
- Prepare formal progress and other reports
- Interface with client, consultants and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
- Advise on Health & Safety and Environmental risks
- Plan for and manage Quality, Safety, Health and Environment issues
Key requirements - Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience on large scheme projects (100m+)
- NEC: ECC Project Manager accreditation
- Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS preferred
- Strong client-facing and project governance skills
- Finance and cost management experience
