Overview In this role you lead hydrogen and related process projects across the EMEA region, guiding multi-discipline teams from conception through delivery. You’ll drive safety, cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating with clients and third parties. The position combines technical stewardship with business development, shaping projects in hydrogen, sustainable fuels, and downstream oil & gas. Based in Glasgow with hybrid work and regional travel, you’ll help accelerate the energy transition.

Responsibilities - Manage sustainable process projects end-to-end, including risk, cost, schedule, and quality
- Lead FEL 1–3 and EPC phases and coordinate with discipline engineers and construction managers
- Resolve design, schedule, materials, change management, safety, and quality issues
- Manage risks in fixed-price and technology-new engagements; support project and proposal reviews
- Lead downstream oil & gas and fuels projects with emphasis on safety and operability
- Oversee brownfield and revamp execution, including shutdown interfaces and change management
- Support business development, including opportunity identification, proposals, and client meetings
- Develop and maintain client relationships to secure new and repeat business across hydrogen, sustainable fuels, and downstream sectors
- Contribute to commercial strategy, scope definition, risk assessment, and contract negotiation with Sales and Solution Directors
Key requirements - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Significant process industry project management experience
- UK EPC project management experience
- Proven leadership of multi-discipline teams
- Experience coordinating third-party contributors to project delivery
