Overview As a Project Manager at Turner & Townsend, you will lead end-to-end project commissions on large or complex infrastructure assignments. You’ll act as the day-to-day client interface, ensuring delivery meets time, cost and quality targets. You will establish governance, define success criteria, and guide cross-functional teams to realise client objectives. This role sits within a growth-focused Midlands team, offering exposure to rail/aviation, highways, and utilities projects. You’ll help shape delivery practices and manage risks to drive project success.
Responsibilities - Advise at inception on approaches to achieve client objectives
- Define project requirements and success criteria
- Establish project governance, processes and systems
- Create and maintain master project plan and activity schedules
- Manage development against approved plans and targets
- Develop resource plans and procure required resources
- Lead cross-functional project teams
- Apply performance management using KPIs
- Oversee change control and budgeting processes
- Manage communications with client, consultants, and stakeholders
- Provide guidance on Health & Safety and Environmental issues
- Plan and manage Quality, Safety, Health and Environment aspects
- Interface with client and manage stakeholder relationships at all stages
- Prepare formal progress and other reports
Key requirements - NEC (3/4) accreditation preferred
- Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS etc preferred
- Degree qualification in a construction-related subject preferred
- Experience at mid-senior level in project management for infrastructure
