Responsibilities - Lead and develop Assistant/Site Manager(s) and provide coaching
- Provide ad-hoc coverage for Regional Operations Manager
- Support Site Managers on complex issues across developments
- Adhere to Build Policy and Procedures
- Supervise subcontractors, material suppliers and utilities to meet programme, quality and cost standards
- Coordinate work to achieve production targets and maintain product quality within budget
- Ensure drawings and instructions are followed precisely
- Coordinate subcontractors and resolve on-site issues
- Maintain Health and Safety compliance per company procedures
Key requirements - Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management in the house-building sector
- Experience overseeing trades and subcontractors, scheduling and material orders, programming, snagging, liaising with sales
- Ability to coach and develop junior construction team members
- Strong problem-solving on site
- Self-motivated with initiative and leadership by example
- Excellent planning and organisational skills to meet objectives and deadlines
- Experience leading project operations to achieve start on site, show-home opening, CML and legal completion targets within budgets
