Overview As Projects Manager you will oversee multiple leisure construction and refurbishment projects from Oxfordshire, coordinating delivery nationwide. You’ll manage programmes, budgets, quality and HSE, while nurturing client and subcontractor relationships. The role is hands-on across site visits, procurement, and handovers, with travel across the UK. Responsibilities - Manage multiple leisure construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion
- Oversee programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance across all projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and client representatives
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and compliance
- Manage project programmes, procurement schedules and delivery plans
- Review drawings, specifications and scope to ensure execution
- Monitor costs, variations, valuations and commercial performance
- Collaborate with commercial team to control budgets and profitability
- Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain schedule
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Support project handover, snagging and completion processes
Key requirements - Proven project management experience in construction, fit out, refurbishment or leisure projects
- Experience delivering multiple projects concurrently, typically 500k–2m
- Background in refurbishment, conversion, fit out or complex interior projects
- Strong commercial awareness with budgets, variations and subcontractor performance
- Excellent understanding of construction processes, programmes and delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously while handling multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK for site visits
- CSCS, SMSTS and relevant construction qualifications preferred
