About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking organisation based in **Stoke-on-Trent**, is seeking an experienced HR Project Manager to lead and implement various strategic HR initiatives. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of key HR projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with a deep understanding of HR processes and challenges. You will collaborate with stakeholders across different departments, driving change and ensuring successful adoption of new HR systems and practices. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for HR initiatives, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Work closely with HR functional leads and business stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Implement and oversee project management methodologies and best practices.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage project communications, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure successful adoption and integration of new HR systems and processes.
- Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the overall HR strategy by identifying and scoping new project opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong focus on HR projects or within an HR environment.
- Demonstrable experience managing projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, processes, and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS).
- Exceptional organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Degree in Business, HR, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- PRINCE2 or PMP certification is highly desirable.
