About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking charity committed to enhancing lives through impactful projects, is seeking a skilled and driven Charity Project Manager to lead initiatives within the Stoke-on-Trent region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities, responsible for the planning, implementation, and successful delivery of various charitable projects from inception to completion. You will work collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and beneficiaries to ensure projects meet their objectives, align with the charity's mission, and are delivered on time and within budget in Stoke-on-Trent .
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end management of charitable projects, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments, ensuring clear objectives and deliverables.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective communication.
- Monitor project progress against agreed milestones, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial accountability.
- Evaluate project outcomes and impact, producing comprehensive reports for stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager , preferably within the non-profit or charity sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups and delivering projects within defined constraints.
