About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Senior Project Manager to lead key cloud solutions projects from anywhere in the UK. This role is critical for orchestrating the design, development, and deployment of scalable cloud-based systems that underpin our client's digital infrastructure. You will work closely with distributed engineering teams, product managers, and key business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of complex cloud initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a remote work environment, possesses exceptional communication and organizational skills, and has a deep understanding of cloud technologies and project management best practices to drive successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex cloud solutions projects , including migrations, integrations, and new service implementations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, set milestones, and manage project budgets effectively.
- Manage and motivate geographically dispersed project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership through robust reporting and virtual collaboration tools.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture, security, and deployment processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in project management , with at least 5 years focused on cloud computing and infrastructure projects (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex cloud-native applications and migrations.
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with proven success in remote team management.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Cloud Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
