Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects aimed at optimizing supply chain processes, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, IT, and procurement.
- Analyze current supply chain operations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Implement new technologies and systems to support supply chain operations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status updates regularly to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in supply chain management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on supply chain or logistics operations.
- Proven experience in optimizing supply chain processes or implementing logistics technologies.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience working in the Staffordshire region or with similar industrial clients is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote and on-site tasks.
