About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Project Manager to enhance their operational efficiency in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is crucial for leading projects focused on process improvement, supply chain optimization, and operational excellence within the company. You will work closely with various operational departments to identify opportunities for enhancement, develop project strategies, and ensure successful implementation of solutions that drive productivity and cost savings. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of operational workflows, and a proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion in a manufacturing or logistics context.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of operational projects aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing quality.
- Develop project plans, define project scope, allocate resources, and establish timelines for operational initiatives.
- Collaborate with operations teams to analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and monitor project plans, tracking progress and managing risks and issues.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization.
- Drive the adoption of new processes and systems resulting from project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management , with a focus on operational improvements.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities to drive change within operations.
- Commitment to working full-time in our Stoke-on-Trent facility.
