About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Project Manager to enhance their operational efficiency through strategic project leadership in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is central to optimising business processes, implementing new operational strategies, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of operational projects, from initial concept and planning through to successful execution and evaluation, working closely with departmental heads and front-line staff. This is a critical position for driving continuous improvement and achieving excellence in operational performance within the Stoke-on-Trent area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of operational improvement projects across the organisation.
- Analyse current operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose innovative solutions for enhancement.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for operational initiatives.
- Manage project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring clear communication channels are maintained.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on outcomes to senior management in Stoke-on-Trent .

Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on operational improvements and process optimisation.
- Proven success in delivering projects within manufacturing, logistics, or service industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable project plans.
- Excellent understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
