About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead key projects based out of Manchester . You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of construction projects, from initial planning and procurement through to successful completion and handover. This role involves a hybrid working model, requiring presence on-site for critical activities and collaboration, with flexibility for remote work during planning and administrative phases. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards, fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the construction project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of materials and labor.
- Coordinate and liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project progression.
- Implement and enforce stringent health, safety, and environmental policies on site, conducting regular audits.
- Manage client relationships, providing regular progress updates and addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant UK building regulations and quality standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction sector .
- Demonstrated success in managing projects from conception to completion, with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Excellent knowledge of contract management, risk assessment, and financial control.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate project teams and negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and a relevant CSCS card.
