About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead major infrastructure projects in and around Manchester . You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from inception and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This senior role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing multiple stakeholders, including local authorities, engineering consultants, and construction teams, to deliver critical infrastructure on time and within budget. The successful candidate will champion best practices in project management, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance throughout all project phases, contributing to the region's development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects .
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, resources, and timelines.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee contractor performance and ensure adherence to contract terms and project specifications.
- Foster strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety , environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in successfully managing complex infrastructure projects .
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and software.
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
