About the Role
Our client seeks a dynamic and organized Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead critical projects in the Birmingham area. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of renewable energy installations, from initial feasibility studies through to commissioning and handover. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strong leadership, and exceptional stakeholder management skills. You will play a key part in expanding our client's footprint in sustainable energy solutions, contributing to a greener future and driving project success through effective planning and execution in the vibrant West Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage installations.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, construction) and external stakeholders (suppliers, regulatory bodies).
- Oversee site assessments, risk management, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Track project progress, manage changes, and report on key performance indicators to senior management.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring project objectives are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on renewable energy projects .
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and their implementation challenges.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management software and methodologies.
