About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Energy Project Manager to oversee diverse projects within the Birmingham area. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of energy projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate and manage all project activities, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and key performance indicators.
- Liaise with internal departments, external contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project progression.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare regular project status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the energy sector .
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies or traditional power generation is a plus.
