About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead critical renewable energy projects in the Coventry area. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from initiation and planning through to execution and closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex energy infrastructure, working closely with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes and contribute to a sustainable energy future.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage project risks, resources, and stakeholder communications effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in the renewable energy sector .
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with UK energy regulations and permitting processes.
