About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the development and execution of cutting-edge renewable energy projects in the Birmingham area. You will oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for renewable energy installations, including feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site assessments and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and delays.
- Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and financial performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong focus on renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage).
- Demonstrable knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent understanding of engineering principles and construction processes within the energy sector.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
